The 2026 Academic Esports Seminar has officially come to a close, ending the week on an inspiring and forward-looking note. Throughout the seminar, participants engaged in insightful discussions and presentations exploring the evolving world of esports, game studies, and the future of the industry.

This year’s seminar once again created a valuable bridge between academic research and practical industry experience, bringing together students, professionals, researchers, and aspiring esports talent from across the field. The event provided a unique space for collaboration, innovation, and meaningful conversations about where esports is headed to next.
