The Moody College of Communication, the communication college at The University of Texas at Austin, recently announced changes in leadership. Ben Bays, an associate professor part of FLARE’s advisory board, is now the inaugural director for their Karch Gaming Institute. The aim of the institute is to aid students who haves hopes of entering the video game industry, originally established at the beginning of 2025. This institute has a history of teaching important knowledge around the convergence between gaming and film, essential for those looking to make a name for themselves in this age.
