The final day of the Academic Esports Seminar came to a close, ending things on a bright and inspirational note. This week was filled with great talks and discussions about everything related to game studies. This seminar formed a great connection between the theoretical and practical outlooks within esports, providing a space for insight into the industry from professionals and aspiring esports talent.

It is safe to say that the highlight of the event was the the opening of the International Research Center for Academic Esports and Game Technologies – a major step forward for long-term research, innovation, and collaboration in this growing field.
