2nd Norwegian Esports Summit: 7-8 May
The Esports Summit is a two-day workshop which gathers educators, youth workers, community organisers, researchers, and policymakers to explore how esports can strengthen youth education, inclusion, and pathways beyond the classroom. This year’s summit builds on the foundation laid in 2025, but with a sharper focus: esportsbased youth education in Norway.
The Norwegian Esports Summit is not a spectator event – it is a working meeting. On Day 1, you will hear from practitioners across Norway through speed pitches, building a shared map of who is doing what and how. On Day 2, you will roll up your sleeves in working groups to develop concrete, reusable outputs: programme templates, learning frameworks, and shared guidelines.

Academic Esports Seminar: 11-13 May
The Academic Esports Seminar will explore how esports can help us better understand, and actively shape, the digital society we are all a part of. AES is more than a seminar. It is a platform for insight, exchange, and transformation. Through keynotes, research presentations, and panel discussions, we will investigate how competitive gaming intersects with education, wellbeing, policy, and inclusion.
This year, we are particularly proud to bring together voices that bridge research and practice. Our panels tackle pressing questions: how esports translates into real-world skills across education and industry, how it can foster multiculturalism and diplomacy across borders, and what it will take to build a sustainable future for grassroots esports.
