New Social Projects

Within the fall semester of 2025, a group of Academic Esports students from the University of Agder put in place a series of successful projects in Grimstad. The first project focused on teaching people more about Esports and tranferable skills that gaming can bring to Grimstad Youth Club, a hub for helping those who are not in school or employed in finding a path forward. The second project had a similar goal within Holviga Junior High School.

The leader of these projects, William Stolt, directed these students as part of coursework within the Bachelor’s in Academic Esports within the University of Agder. This showcased once more the positive impact that Esports can have within society, helping those of varying ages in learning key skills for professional life, while also having fun.
